DataAnalysisConclusionMy results were fairly similar to the accepted value; my largest percent difference was only 1.43%. my closest measurement was the polypropylene which had a percent difference of only 0.222%. One error associated with the measurements made with the vernier caliper is the angle from which I looked at the measurement. Looking at it from the left would give me a smaller measurement, and looking at it from the right would give me a larger measurement. Another error, and the largest source of error that contributes the most in the end product, is how many digits the scale measures. We don't know if, for example, it is measure 21.50 g or 21.59 g. This would change our results the most out of the other errors. The only ways to correct these errors are to measure from directly above the vernier caliper and get a scale that measures more precisely.
